What we store

Your normalized email address, selected providers, subscription status, consent version and timestamps, plus delivery IDs needed to avoid duplicate sends. We do not ask for or connect to your AI-provider accounts.

How confirmation works

New subscriptions use double opt-in. The first email opens a review page; alerts begin only after you explicitly confirm there. Confirmation links expire after 24 hours and can be used once.

Delivery and tracking

Resend processes the email address and message for delivery. AI Reset Watch does not enable open or click tracking. Resend bounce, complaint and suppression events are used to stop sending to addresses that should no longer receive mail.

Website analytics

We use a privacy-minimized PostHog page-view event to understand which public pages are useful. It records the page path, page title, this site’s hostname and—when present—the referring website’s hostname. It does not record query strings, form contents, email addresses, session replays or automatic click events.

The analytics code does not set cookies or use local storage, creates no persistent visitor profile, disables GeoIP enrichment, and honors Global Privacy Control and “Do Not Track.” PostHog processes the request IP as the analytics transport provider even though this site does not retain it as an event property.

Your controls

Every alert contains links to change provider preferences and unsubscribe. Mail clients that support one-click unsubscribe can stop alerts directly from their interface. Unsubscribing takes effect immediately.

Retention and questions

Unsubscribed records are retained only as needed to honor the opt-out and protect sending reputation. To request deletion or ask a privacy question, use the contact route on alexshen.dev.
